Its time for summer, and triathlon season is kicking into high gear! Here are some of the highlights for this quarter (please consult the event calendar for full details, including weekly swims and runs):
-Open water swim practice - PTC style, followed by riding the beautiful roads in Cartersville
-Clemson Death Valley Open Water Swim Meet
-Gaps riding in the North Georgia mountains
-Training and racing Nutrition Clinic with Iron Mike Gaw
-Club race at Chattanooga Waterfront Olympic Triathlon
-Peachtree Road Race!! (not a club event, but many of your PTC folks will be participating in this Atlanta tradition)
-More riding in the North Georgia Mountains
-GA Games (many PTC folks will participate in events, including the open water swim, come join the fun!!)
-Covington Century ride
-Volunteer opportunity at Acworth Women's Triathlon
-Club race at Richard B. Russell Triathlon
-More open water swimming, plus bike and run after
All this, along with our weekly swims, runs and
bike/run workouts give you lots of opportunity to train with your fellow
PTC club members.
